Seems Eros is back to Zeros with raised black level giving the picture a washed out look.

If the actual BD looks as milky as seen here, the RGB conversion trick should help in seeing it without the raised black level issue. If your BD player and display both supports full range RGB colour space, you will be able to enjoy the BD properly with the following settings

1. Set your BD player colour space from Auto (YCbCR / Rec 709 default) to Full RGB(not RGB Video or limited)
2. Set your Display colour space from Auto (Rec 709 or YCbCr) to RGB (Video) and not RGB (Full). This will clip the raised black and make the image look better. Setting the display to full RGB will have the same effect as seen with the SS or as seen with default settings. In some displays the Auto setting will immediately switch from Rec 709 to RGB Video and the image will look better.
3. You may have to change the gamma from Film/CRT to Video if it becomes slightly darker.

This trick is not the ideal way to see BDs but it is the only way to make the image appear as it should be in the first place.

Gotta hand it to Eros, they always make sure that their reputation as ZEros stays intact.

Zeros is back!
anyways guys i'll say its not their fault but the source is like that...i watched the movie like this in theater (2k digital display) and even the colours of DVD were like this....and the reason behind this is that the haste with which the VFX were done.... they had to complete it in a very short notice to be able to meet with diwali release date and the VFX were done at various different studios so i guess they got very little time for colour grading at DI stage(the last stage) hence the source is like this

i hav'nt watched the BD yet i'm sure the audio will sound ruff, edgey, unrefined! the same reason...the studio where the audio was being mixed was filled with water 15 days before the release so i guess they had to re-mix the track in such a short notice resulting the mix sounding like that

i'm sure rockstar will look and sound much much better (as it did in theaters)

+1. I am sure I did notice raised black levels in theatre...not to the extent visible in SS but still to a considerably significant extent. I really dont care for this movie or this BD....(somebody plz control my hatred towards the film....i might murder someone LOL) BUt just wanted to support divyansh's point.

Smile Toddly

Toddly i got mine from indianblu-rays.com , i got it in three days , got in thursday morning ordered sunday mindnite , amazing. Shipping is reasonable, if you want priority its still reasonable and they take pay pal. Ordered 6 to 7 times and they have never been late. Its worth it getting it shipped, i live in los angeles and get my blu rays from India, if you want them fast its worth it.

I got Ra one and Ricky Behl blu ray and i am in heavan watching them.

I can drive to artesia, it takes me 40 minutes, gas cost and time and they don't get it as quick as the indian sites, it takes 5 days, they finally got it in desi stores in Los angeles today.

Depends how quickly you want it how addicted of a fan you are
