Underutilized Supporting Movie Characters

Many a time I watch films whose supporting characters are as interesting if not more so than the main characters. Here are a couple that I think were underutlized for the films they were in.

Snape-Harry Potter Films
Pete Postlethwait- Any movie he was in
Darth Maul-Why couldn't he and Jar Jar have swapped the amount of lines each had
Muldoon-Jurassic Park
Optimus Prime-In his own movies no less

Stan the Hitman played by Nicky Katt in The Limey

Clint played by Nicky Katt in Dazed N Confused "Looks like we are almost out of beer"

Hanzo in Predators - He spoke maybe 3 words but stole the film.

I disagree with your statement that Professor Snape was a supporting character.
