Blue Mountain State: Season 1 Blu-ray

Blue Mountain State: Season 1 Blu-ray Review

Who all has Season 1 on Blu-ray? Thoughts? I just started watching the series on Netflix Instant Streaming and am really enjoying it.

I know Season 2 was released on DVD in September, was there any reason given why they didn't release it on BD as well? I hate when I buy DVD/BD of a certain series, then they stop releasing it due to "poor sales", so was just wondering if that might be why Season 2 wasn't released on BD yet?

I think you hit the nail on the head with the "poor sales" statement. BMS's season one much much stronger and popular than the following season two. One of the main characters left the show and must have picked up new writers or something bc the show went in a bit of a different direction. Definitely not as funny as season one nor was it a big hit on spike tv anymore so I'm sure the reason it was not released on blu was bc people probably did not expect it to sell too well..

This is similar to the very new and very popular show Workaholics. It was only released on DVD this past year. I guess this was bc it was a new show and people were probably not sure if it would sell well, but it is a very popular show and I highly demand my workaholics on blu!

A contradiction to what I just said would be to take a look at Camelot though. This show was cancelled after the first season but still released on blu ray and DVD. I still have not quite figured out why they would release a show that was cancelled after the first season on blu but would not release a show that is being renewed for new seasons (workaholics, not BMS) on blu... tis a sad sad thing.

I really liked BMS, but IMO it lost its touch since Denise Richards was added to the show.

I just finished episode 1 from the second season and noticed it wasn't as funny. I don't care too much for Page Kennedy. I read about Sam Jones's personal problems before I finished the first season.

I may stick with the DVDs on this set, and when/if they ever continue to release the BD, replace them. Will finish off season 2 this week to see if it's worth a buy first.

She is the only reason I won't watch this otherwise probably decent show.

I don't understand all the hate for Denise Richards being on this show? Can someone explain? I know I would rather see more of the characters that we only get to see little of, except for a few, but I don't see anything bad about her role on the show? I guess because I actually like Denise Richards.
