Mirage OMD15 and the center OMDC1?

Whats your out take on these>? Mirage OMD15 ? and the Mirage OMDC1 center..?
Im about to place the order..for a total of 1,049 ..to my door on the 23...good choice?

theyll be similar to those Energys you had before. Mirage/Energy were both owned by the same company before, they have very similar sound and performance.

This is true but the sound is going to be a bit different due to the Mirages with the tweeter configuration with the Omnipolar design.

The OMD 15s and C1 center are great speakers and work together very well. They are very unique in design and as Blu has said will be different than what you are used to, They continue to amaze me in my HT great HT speakers, decent for music but you will have to check that for yourself.

Ok thanks callas01 as always,your the man.. and all the other great people here.. i made the move and bought the set..Ive read many great info on these speakers..I guess i need to break them in for 80 hours or so ,before judgeing them..and they have a different,but wonderful sound to them, hearing the OMNIPOLAR technology for the first time, over the basic sounds comming straight @ yea im use to...Thx again guys..

Well i got my Mirage OMD 15 in Redwood and the Mirage OMDC1 Redwood.. and i must say,these are the best looking speakers ive ever seen....There so classy looking ..Even my Girlfriend that doesnt give a rats ass about my hobby,even said...WOW those are pretty..lol
Im about 24 hours into the breaking in part..Mirage really mentions this part to do,many times over in there manual..they sound so much cleaner than the 1st day..cant wait to here them in a few days..DAYTONA 500!! 2 DAYS AWAY!..LOL
Well heres some pics..best i can do with my sh*ty cell phone..I love the sound of these OMD style..wraps you around the sound..

wow Blu..Love your setup...I wanted the CS2 center..but that thing is just to big,for my room..I have 2 pitbulls that would run into it,if i put it on a stand like you did..but damn,that thing is nice looking

yours are badass also Henry..BTW//whats the best way to point the center speaker? henry you have your CS1 pointed more forward than i do,mines straight up..i cant seem to get mine to point forward,with the given table stand it came with

Thanks buddy, try to shim up the back of the stand that the C1 is on to just tip it a bit more forward. I mounted my C1 over my screen and it made a huge difference in sound. The thing is with your setup you would not be able to do that easily.

I thought it was desighned to be pointed straight up and not forward..as i have mine point up,and it sounds really good,for the voices to be comming out of the Plasma and not directly @ you..

This is correct, if you look at Henry T he just has his pitched a bit more forward than the stand will allow. With mine I have it mounted upside down and pitched on an angle not straight forward. With mine the screen is pretty high so when sitting down the C1 is higher than ear level, hard to explain but the sound is awesome. Some people have mounted the C1 upside down on the ceiling.

Mirage makes the best looking speakers in the world. Especially there sat and Floorstanding speakers. They are very very sexy. Congrats on joining the world best looking speaker company. (I still think audiovox is making a mistake with whole jamo mirage thing)

You can't even compare the two. The 15's will blow you away. Congrats, now order the 15's.

Have had both and I kept the 15's.
