Hi,
I had one of the first gmail accounts (I think) it was invitation only and you got a 1GB inbox which was a novelty at the time. My invitation was sent to my hotmail account which I still have access to, however at some point in 2004 my account was hacked and I never was able to recover it. I emailed google and they just gave me the same old cut & paste pre scripted responses like “check caps lock isn’t on” and “make sure you are entering the correct password”, it was laughable. I am guessing this account is long gone as it never had any 2 factor auth set up and all I had was my initial referral email, no secondary email recovery etc. A long shot I know but thought I’d ask. Thanks |
