Hey everyone, I’m Kim Nguyen, Marketing Manager for PLAYSTATION 3. This is my first post and I’m happy to report that the PS3 brand campaign officially kicks off this week with our online campaign. The first of many banners will appear today and run through December. In a nutshell, the theme of this year’s campaign uses computer animation to model key PS3 iconography in a black onyx world. Phew, yeah, that’s a mouthful. Better yet, why don’t you see it for yourself. This link takes you to the “Blu-ray” banner and is just the beginning with lots more to come. Stay tuned…

Finaly, I hope they bomb the net and tv with educational adv. all throughout holiday season. I own 2 ps3s and will be doing my part.

That has to be the coolest flash animation I've ever seen. Dead serious, not just because of content, but the effects are amazing.

I hope they have "Branding" tools available for site/content owners who want to do stuff. Let us get our hands a bit dirty with it. I'd love to run that ad on my site.

Interesting, you'd think a Sony Picture movie would be shown...

Much better quality vid than the one I'd seen

SCEE look to be doing their part in web advertising. I wouldn't read too much into the Warner Superman thing, Toshiba (or Microsoft

) keep blowing their budget advertising The Matrix still so Sony need to do their part keeping Warner happy with their contribution. And Superman will actually sell with the rapid increase in PS3 owners this season.

awesome animation, it will be a good idea if an advert can be madeout of this showing all the multimedia funtions of the ps3 and not forgetting foremost that it is also a briliant games console
