Universal Studios Home Entertainment will release Beginners on Blu-ray this November. Director Mike Mills' semi-autobiographical dramedy stars Ewan McGregor (Trainspotting) as Oliver, a graphic designer struggling with memories of his deceased father (Christopher Plummer, The Last Station), who came out of the closet at age seventy-five after forty-five years of heterosexual marriage. To his surprise, Oliver takes great inspiration from his father's new lifestyle, particularly regarding his budding relationship with a beautiful free-spirit (Mélanie Laurent, Inglourious Basterds)

Universal's Blu-ray presents the film mastered for 1080p in its original aspect ratio with a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. Supplementary materials have not yet been announced.

Beginners is expected to street on November 15th.
