I discovered this story just the other day. The really incredible thing is not only did this happen in my town, it also happened at a pharmacy I've gotten prescriptions filled at and the pharmacist arrested has filled prescriptions for me before. Really bizarre story. This pharmacist always seemed very nice and honest to me. Never imagined he was doing this sort of thing.
Abuse of prescription drugs is sky high here in central Florida. Many pharmacies in my area putting up bullet proof glass to prevent theft of prescription drugs. There was also two pharmacies not far from me who were raided by the authorities for dispensing over 3 million oxy pain pills per year, or something like 40 times what an average pharmacy sells. I'm generally pro-legalization for some drugs, but what this guy was doing is inexcusable. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/0...usaolp00000003 Quote:
