New AVR

I'm looking at getting a new avr. I'm looking at Denon 4311ci, Pioneer SC57 or Yamaha A3010. Also found a local guy today selling his SC57 for $1100 is it worth checking out. Still has everything that comes with the avr. My speakers are KEF Q900 fronts, Q600 center, NHT for rears and sub HSU VTF15H.

see if he'll bring it over so you can listen to the receiver on your setup. When I heard the XQ40s and Pio Elite there was tons if detail and overall I thought they worked pretty well together. They were a touch too bright for me to live with, but they were awesome to watch a movie with. I think a proper audition would be instore. You can also look into Onkyo or Marantz to see how they might work together as well.

You have some really nice pieces there to build a setup around.

Will check with him and see what happens. What do you think about the Denon 4311ci and Kef speakers together.
