I remember the rumor that members of the Naughty Dog team had travelled to Scandinavia popped up before Uncharted 3 was revealed. The irony is, that at that time they were probably sweating in a Southern California desert.
Like the dog that didn't bark in the night in the Sherlock Holmes story Silver Blaze, I think the absence of information about Uncharted is more revealing than anything else. When people, like Nolan North, stop talking about Uncharted (due to NDA's), then we can expect another Uncharted. I think a December 2012 reveal is more likely, as was the case for previous Uncharted games. |

Please don't be Uncharted 4, they need to save that for the PS4.
This series is quickly becoming over saturated. Uncharted 3 was a great game but came too soon after Uncharted 2 to make any real noticeable sense of progression, hence the lukewarm response. |

With the focus on The Last of Us, I don't think Naughty Dog is going to do anything to upstage that. |

Actually Uncharted 2 had some extremely annoying QTE crap too. I hope they make U4 more difficult, U3 was far too easy, even on crushing

Personally I'd prefer the combat to be like Uncharted 1 where everything just flows but with more moves of course. Uncharted 1 has the most satisfy hand to hand as well as using moves like punch punch shoot or shoot shoot punch. No need for the final boss type QTE either. |

It wasn't as big a leap from Uncharted to Uncharted 2, but that's only because that leap was such a huge leap to begin with. Last edited by Ascended_Saiyan; 03-21-2012 at 04:44 PM. |

I don't care if they improve on the graphics. Even Drake's Fortune still looks better than 99.5% of the console games out there.
They can easily do more games with just the same engine and I'd be happy as can be. Most important improvements can be with the melee. |

Of course. That part of what I'm saying. The leap from Uncharted to Uncharted 2 was much larger than any other sequel game this gen. Plus, it depends on where you place the additional resources gained from engine improvements. In Uncharted 3, the additional resources were put into less noticeable places for some (Lighting, A.I., animations, physics simulations, split-screen, etc). That, at least, matches the leap of the biggest sequel exclusives on any other platform at any time.
