It's only a matter of time before they do a biopic on Disney...

Edward Norton is a good idea. I could also see Shia LaBeouf playing a young Walt.

No thank you, stick with Norton.

Agreed, I think Norton could be brilliant in this role. In fact, why isn't this being made?

Disney would have a fit if it were ever made. And if it were made by them, it wouldn't be historically accurate, most likely.

The title of this thread is very misleading and here I thought this was being made before coming in here.

"Here, one of the guinea pigs cheered, and was immediately suppressed by the court."
- Lewis Carroll

In addition to seeing whatever new title the mods eventually change/move the photo-wank post to, can anyone find a Tube clip of Roger ("V For Vendetta") Allam actually playing a historical spot-on bit-part Walt in the Citizen Kane "RKO 281"? Was going to here, but only version I could find was the French version.
("I don't mean to be funny, but what dirt has Hearst got on Mickey Mouse?"
"Get off it, Walt, he's got you so tied in with the America First movement, he could slap a brown shirt on you right now, and you could say goodbye to the kiddies.")

If you want to stretch, there was Eddie Bracken in "National Lampoon's Vacation", but that was fictional.

I'm right here, bud.

I've been hoping for some time that they'd actually make a Walt Disney biopic, especially considering how many people have gotten them over the past few years. I think Norton is an interesting choice for the role as well. But honestly, I don't know if Disney will do the movie any time soon. They're really focused on their theme park to movie films, as well as restarting and retooling other franchises. If they decide to do it, it probably won't be any time soon, unfortunately.

I think Disney had a right place right time interesting story but I wouldn't really need to see it on film.

I don't think the Disney estate would be willing to let another studio do this and if done by Disney studios it will be a inflated "feel good story of the year". They would probably show him fighting in WW1 when he was young, whereas the facts are he got there pretty much after the war and was in the red cross.

Bottom line is I can do without this bio-pic.

So, Mr. Banks is out of the title, or is the Tom Hanks picture separate?
