Born Yesterday Blu-ray

Academy Award winning nominee Melanie Griffith (Working Girl) stars as Billie Dawn, a Las Vegas showgirl whose lack of sophistication makes for some hilariously embarrassing moments in the Washington, D.C., social scene. That's when her overbearing boyfriend (John Goodman - The Artist) hires a well-educated and handsome journalist (Don Johnson - When in Rome) to smarten her up. The improbable romance that blossoms between Billie and her tutor turns all of their lives - and Washington, D.C. - upside down!

I was so excited to see this posted when I went to their site. I have loved this movie for so long, so I can't wait to add it to my collection!

So thrilled to see Born Yesterday and Mr. Wrong on their upcoming list. Never seen the others though. I hope they release more older titles.

It's good to see MC getting back to releasing Disney/Buena Vista titles.

No chance! The original is a Columbia title, and therefore owned by Sony.

For a second I was surprised this had so many posts already. Figured most had to be thinking the original.

Same here. I like that Mill Creek seemed to inch up a little on the titles they could license in terms of something cursory like the amount of IMDb votes. Everything else they had released was 6000 or lower. This time they got a couple in the 8000-10,000 range which increases the possibilities (since Disney isn't likely to release them all otherwise).

This would be the last of the four Hollywood Pictures / Touchstone Pictures she did that I wanted. I'm really hoping for Paradise. I'd prefer Two Much and A Stranger Among Us before this also. But, I'm glad for anyone of them as it increases the odds they will release more of something for everyone.

Never seen either of those, so might check them out. As of now, the the one movie she did I really want released is Milk Money. I adore that movie.
