Default GC-2 Wireless PS3 Controller

Received this in the mail today.

Charging right now.

I can tell you this controller does not feel cheap at all. The controller comes with a charging USB-USB-mini cable, USB dongle & instruction booklet. The thumbsticks & buttons feel durable & well made including the triggers. The D-Pad even feels great. The odd shape or design of the controller fits in your hand not 100% perfect imo because your index fingers rest on the tips of the triggers. This controller has some weight to it as well. Feels 1/2 pound heavier then the Sony DS3 but not as heavy as a Xbox 360 controller.

There is a Turbo button which can be used for rapid fire on selected buttons (4x) & sensitivity on both thumbsticks (4x)

According to the booklet, the controller can hold a 25 hour charge. When not in use for 10 minutes, the controller will turn off. There doesn't seem to be any options to turn off this power saving feature. I bring that up because once it turns off, the controller resets your rapid fire & sensitivity back to default. You can also hold the "home button" for 10 seconds to manually turn it off.

There have only been 7 reviews on Amazon. (Usually a good thing) They sell for $39.99 but are sold out. The other seller is the one I got mine from for $34.99.

I'll come back to let ya know some impressions.

Have any of ya guys tried this controller out?

IDE get one. If it was sold in store. Since I'm not big on online shopping.

The Amazon market place Post it UK or something is really good & reliable. Fast too. Got it within a week of ordering.

Well the blue light stopped blinking so I thought it was fully charged. Tried it out & every few seconds the low battery light signal (all 4 lights blink 3 times) came on. Gonna let it charge the whole night & if it still does the same thing after tomorrow.. well I'll let cha guys know.

They're the only online retailer I trust the most. Been dealing with them since the 90's

Umm, update on the controller.. It wasn't low on battery life. The Pulse Headset was interfering with its signal. Works fine.

That said.. the triggers are very tight. A lot of pull towards its dead zone. Maybe the springs will loosen up over use.

So far that's my only con with it.
