Actors and directors who aren't living up to their potential

Any contemporary actors and/or directors that you feel aren't living up to their potential?

It could be for different reasons: they aren't choosing the best projects, aren't being utilized properly by the industry, or they simply choose to work infrequently and aren't producing a great body of work like they could, etc.

A few to start off:

Keira Knightley - great actress who I think chooses to work infrequently, but she doesn't pick the best projects when she does. Colette was the first role/film in a long time that did her talent justice.

Dwayne Johnson - he was pegged as the next great action star but his career has been such a disappointment to me. He hasn't made any truly great action films based on original material and always goes for low brow stuff. I'd like to see him branch out and flex his dramatic muscles.

Kristen Bell - had so much potential post-Veronica Mars but wasted it on crappy rom-coms and never really broke out as a film actress. I feel like she would've thrived in an era that produced more movie musicals.

Mia Wasikowska - one of the most talented actors of her generation, but she seems to have fallen off the radar since Crimson Peak.
