Default Best place to buy Sanyo projector bulbs

My lamp replacement light is on for my Sanyo PLV-Z700. I called Sanyo and because of some transition with Panasonic they don't have any lamps. I was wondering about places to buy lamps. Any recommendations or horror stories would be appreciated.

First time I have had to replace the lamp,.

The guy at Sanyo did say to call back at the beginning of April if I could wait.

Thanks, have you bought from them before? Just wondering if they are selling OEM. I have seen some listed for $120 but it looked like aftermarket stuff.

Personally I haven't had to replace a bulb yet but a friend of mine has on his Epson pj and he ordered from projector people and his was OEM. I ordered my panny pj from them and their customer service is top notch.

Try AV Science or Projector People. Both places I've ordered from previously and have had great service.

Also I know that they both sell OEM bulbs...

Thanks, AV science doesn't seem to sell Sanyo equipment, and they only had one Sony lamp listed. Projector people has the wrong part number come up for the lamp that supposed to go with my pj, which has me a little worried

Give AV science a call. They don't have a lot of what they have available on the site.

Personally I would go with ebay. It's the easiest way to find a lamp and your covered by both ebay and paypal.

Visualapex website explained that Sanyo had replaced the lamp for my pj, which would also explain why projectorpeople had a different part number (it was the same as visualapex but different than what is in my owners manual). I'll try and get Sanyo to confirm the model change number then order one. I want that sucker in my house before the Final Four. Otherwise I'll be too nervous.

I went with projectorpeople. Surprised how easy it is to change the lamp, except of course for the price. I did it as soon as the new lamp arrived. I was going to keep the old one just in case the replacement went out in the future before I had a chance to get another one. Anyone every try and put an old lamp in several years after it was last used? I assume it wouldn't be a problem. I put in packing that the replacement lamp came in so it should not get damaged.
