Question for those who use a laptop as an HTPC. Do you remove the battery and have it plugged into the wall so as not to over charge / ruin the battery? I am thinking of getting a cheap laptop, under $350 which can use as a portable solution for on the go entertainment / work (not so much though lol).
What do you think? I was thinking of this one: Lenovo 15.6" Intel Core i3-2330M Laptop - Click Here I originally bought a Boxee Box and returned it thinking I can do much better with a PC / Laptop plus too many issues in the long term from what I read on their forums from current users. I had built a PC before which I used as an HTPC but built it a bit too big in a HAF case. This time I was looking at smaller cases but then started to think about Laptops. Any thoughts?
