As stated. Bestbuy has been re-releasing older UK steelbooks. So this may very well be the art. They've done the same thing with

That being said all of these have beautiful artwork and I already own two of the UK releases including The Longest Day.

I'm hoping it's different as the European version seems too busy imo. If it was just the helmet atop the rifle with sea and sky in the background that would be OK but those barriers clutter everything up. I would actually like to see it with the original book art. An upside down helmet in the sand next to the tide. Very minimalist but effective.

Seems kind of random to just drop this Steelbook, and War for the Planet of the Apes. You'd think it'd be part of a bigger wave, or that TLD was out for its anniversary or something. I guess these are supposed to be Memorial Day themed?

Die Hard & the Die Hard collection will drop the same day, add that and the new Deadpool Steel + the Maze Runner steels, Best Buy will have a nice wave wall, but I am with you, they should of added more titles.

I got the ordinary BD a few years back for $8.00 from a shipper in-store.
Can't see dropping new money on the same discs again for this title just for a steel.

FYI :This only includes the BD and DVD disc 1 of the previous set. Matte finish.

Yup.

Found this out after bringing it home. Luckily I have the 2 disc DVD with that missing extras disc to slide into this. Still.....typical Fox eff up. By far the worst studio when it comes to porting over existing DVD extras to Blu.

Picked this up today at my local BB for 11.99$ very nice looking steel, also picked up Blues Bros and Snatch steels for 11.99 and 9.99. I've never actually seen TLD so I am looking forward to finding a nice chunk of time to immerse myself in it.

^^ TLD is not as gruesome or special effects laden as say "Saving Pte Ryan" but I think it has a far better story(s), though that/those story(s) can be a tad disjointed on initial watch.
Surprisingly, considering the wealth of A list actors in this, it didn't turn into the ego contest many were afraid it would become...

I think D. Zanuck kept a pretty tight leash on many of them!
