Hey guys,
I ordered 4 steelbooks on 25 May and another one on 30 May via Play.com. It is stated that they have shipped these steelbooks 31 May, but I am still waiting for my steelbooks. I'm waiting over 2 weeks now. The last time I ordered via Play.com, I got my steelbooks quite fast. I have send them an e-mail, but still no respond... Am I the only one outside the UK (I live in Holland) waiting this long? |

Look at it this way:
You could get a woman pregnant and in the final birthing stage in the amount of time it takes for Play.com to reply to you! ![]() Play.com might be good for steelbooks, but their customer service might aswell be run by blind retarded monkeys, as it wouldn't make a difference. Now if you assault Play.com's Twitter account, you might get a faster reply. ![]() |

They won't consider lost for 3 weeks (actually 15 working days). They then email you a declaration to claim for the lost item. This has to be signed and posted back to them. They refuse an emailed scan copy. Is because they want an actual signature. They then deny they have received your posted back form. You therefore have to threaten a credit card chargeback and so they sent a replacement 6 weeks after the original lost item was sent.
My actual story from January this year. There are similar horror stories on their appalling customer service on this forum and many others. |

Have you tried ringing them? I had a prob with my Pulp Fiction steel, I was on the phone and they only send a replacement once a damaged item is returned, but I kicked off until they agreed to send a replacement before I returned the defective item AND before/incase it went out of stock.
You need to leave it 21 days (I think) after dispatch, if nothing after that get onto them and either have a refund or replacement. If asking for a replacement insist on 1st class delivery at no extra charge. I did find the play customer servfices to be fine, and generally philipino staff are great to get along with. Good luck with your oders mate. On the plus side, the play packagingf has really improved, if not the best out there, so if/when they turn up, they'll be A1 condition. |
