Default Should I buy Zombieland steelbook in this condition and...

Should I buy Zombieland (German) steelbook edition for 68 euro's?
I know it is a limited edition steelbook, and I like how it looks. But it is not mint, it is opened. Condition = ''Almost new''.

Is this is a ''rare'' steelbook?

(This is a sealed one, found this picture on google).

Would you buy it?

What I meant: is it a good price for this steelbook in that condition?

it's your choice. if you want it, buy it, But personally I wouldn't spend that much on a steelbook. especially if it's not sealed

As much as I love that movie, I couldn't justify paying that much for that release... There's so many other versions (and other Steelbooks) to be had of that movie.

You said its not MINT, so what is wrong with it? I can't see the imperfection in the picture?

No. German exclusive.

If you really want it, get it.

I don't how many times I've thought that the price was to high and now I can't get it. Or you can hope for a re-release somewhere.

To me mint means not damaged. I actually prefer opened steelbooks that way I don't get any "surprises" when I take the back art off.

This. Just because the shrinkwrap was removed on an item does not imply that the item itself was "damaged". Granted, collectors would prefer to have an item factory-sealed and in impeccable condition, i.e. not incur visible signs of outwardly damage (dents, scratches, etc.) or has cosmetic defects originating from the factory. Removing the shrinkwrap reduces its desirability because the package, as a whole, is no longer pristine not intact, but to suggest that it's "damaged" would be misleading.

i paid $80 for mine opened which is a little less than the one you're looking at but not by much... i didn't care that it was opened as i buy mine to open and watch them, not to collect them for their value... that was the most expensive steel i have bought so far and hopefully i won't have to do it again

Well, I think I'll pass on this one.
The price equals 9 Best Buy steelbooks, or almost 6 Play.com exclusives.

I've spend to much on these damn steelbooks in the past 2-3 weeks. I had only one steelbook 3 weeks ago. Then I found this forum and now I have 28 steelbooks and (pre-)ordered another 18... thanks for making me an addict guys, I really do appreciate it

[Show spoiler].

If you are going to open it anyways, you're better off almost buying it open and knowing what's wrong with it. I don't know how many times I opened sealed Steelbooks and found out there's a dent/scratches on below the cardboard, especially on the back cover.

At the rate Steelbooks are being reprinted there's no way I would pay that much for one, especially one that is used.

true, you could buy plenty more newly printed steels but that's why they are cheaper, because they are new... once they go oop and become more desireable that's when the price goes up... when I started out I never thought I would pay that much for one haha... I hunted down all the older releases that I missed out on and I pretty much have those covered now so I can focus on the newly released ones... good luck
