Just played Portal 2 and finished it finally
![]() Man I love this game. Do we have any news on Portal 3 yet. I searched but nothing, only this real video. Pretty cool. Guess it's the beginning of portal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4druc...ature=youtu.be |

This isn't Call of Duty from Activision (prod by. Treyarch, IW, or whatever), Valve actually cares to release quality games. =)

I remember watching MW3 trailer it looked awesome but then the gameplay was hardly any different from MW2.
Black Ops 2 has robots and whatnot so it might actually be different from the first. Not falling again. Last edited by ps3bd_owner; 09-22-2012 at 07:49 PM. |

Sorry guys, Valve doesn't know how to count to 3. List of their games from Wiki:
Half-Life, Team Fortress Classic, Half-Life: Opposing Force, Deathmatch Classic, Ricochet, Counter-Strike, Half-Life: Blue Shift, Half-Life: Decay, Day of Defeat, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, Half-Life: Source, Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, Half-Life Deathmatch: Source, Day of Defeat: Source, Half-Life 2: Lost Coast, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Portal, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2, Alien Swarm, Portal 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2 So as you can see, even if Valve promises you three Episodes of Half-Life 2, they only deliver two. The company has been around since 1996. That's over 15 years of making games and they have yet to make a single trilogy. Good luck with your Portal 3 but I will keep pushing for my Half-life 2: Episode 3 or Half-life 3. Either works for me. |

Well I've had Portal 2 since launch, yet, never played Portal 1. But now that I have a three year old, I showed him Portal 2 and he loves it. So I ran out and picked up The Orange Box for XBOX 360, for $29.00, being it has Portal 1 on it.

But seriously, why wouldn't Valve make a Portal 3?
They're still a business, and the goal of a business is to make money. And we all know a 3rd Portal would make coin. So why not make it? Is it because expectations are too high and they don't want to just crank out a mediocre sequel? I get that. But.. Do you really think it would be mediocre? This is Valve we're talking about. Its not like it would be as bad as, say, Spiderman 3 was for film. Besides, mediocre from Valve is better than mediocre from some movie franchise |
