Has anybody heard anything about this film? Saw it tonight at Wal mart and thought it sounded really interesting...

I thought the idea of it sounded really fun. Then I watched the movie and had to FF through probably at least a third of it cause it was just terrible. If it was just bad, dumb, funny, I would have been ok with that. But I just couldn't get into it at all.

How much was it at Walmart? I am curious about Monster Brawl but have read some lukewarm reviews so it's on my "buy it if it's cheap list." Apparently the lack of a crowd and special attacks hinted at but never seen lessen it somewhat and it'd make a better video game than movie from what I've read but I remain curious.
