Are we certain this has both cuts of the film? If it doesn't, I'm not sure if I would want to have this edition. The UK steelbook has both the theatrical and extended version in one package.

If it does have both versions, however, this will be a nice set that matches well with The Town: UCE.

Damn, if this is going to be a trend with Ben Affleck directed movies, then I'm not going to buy his movies on released date. Like I did with the Town, I will probably buy this only if the price is right.(about $20)

Who didn't see this coming. I do hope they have a digibook edition, just like they did with The Town.

Hmm, the db says it's a BD and DVD, but the pic shows 2 BD's, and only mentions Blu-ray on the front.

They aren't calling it an Ultimate Collector's Edition. Prolly a triple dip around the corner, too.

I really hope it includes both the theatrical and extended edition of the film. If it doesn't, I suppose I could put my target exclusive in with the set (disc wise) by customizing it. And the extras included on that release might not be on this one. But I would rather have this be a good complete package for fans (like The Town UCE edition was).

It should. The UK edition has both cuts, and it's all on one disc that uses seamless branching. The extended cut is only about 9 mins longer and from what I've read, it doesn't really add that much to the movie. If anyone owns it already, it's probably not worth double-dipping for, though I guess we'll have to wait till we see what new extras they're including to truly make that conclusion.

This is rather frustrating to hear... I got Argo for my dad for his birthday back in June, and I felt like it was a really sentimental purchase. This just makes me feel bad

I don't have it yet, so I'll probably get this one if the special features are really nice, but otherwise, this is rather surprising to me.

Kind of sucks, but I want to see what's added before I invest. Especially if the theatrical cut isn't included.
