The official movie website says that the third movie will be released before Christmas. You can order Steelbooks (G1) for all three movies. Also, you can get your name printed on the BD for the third movie.

I can't find any other listings online. I wonder if they're just releasing it themselves instead of going through Fox like the other two.

1 - Why didn't the Security Guard tell him that the only people that were left in the building were the people on the 30th floor when John asked about his wife? Serves the Guard right that he gets killed for being an ass.

Maybe a Mod can alter the Thread title for you.

I read this book many years ago and throughly enjoyed it. That doesn't mean I agree with all aspects of Ayn Rand's advocated philosophy, but the book has some valid points and does make you think.
I picked up the trilogy box set when it was on sale recently and have started watching it. Part 1 won't win any awards for sure, but it was enjoyable and I'm looking forward to parts 2 & 3.

Why did they recast the main roles for each movie? I've never seen anything like that. Super annoying.

The previous person probably didn’t want to come back. And the studio probably didn’t sign them to a multiple movie contract or be willing to pay them more to come back.

Because the movies weren't made at the same time/back to back and they kept changing studios, kept changing directors, budgets kept getting smaller, and so forth.
