Default Steve Winwood Live 2004

I have a question for anyone that's viewed the Steve Winwood Live 2004 from the Sound Stage series. Picked this up for $7 yesterday, and I'm sitting here now enjoying it, nice little concert. I'm about 6 songs in and I'm finding the bass guitar quite good. Looking around to see who's playing it, I see NO ONE. Hmmm, am I losing my faculties? Hard to believe it would be pre recorded...anyone have any thoughts?

That's weird. Winwood doesn't provide the bass guitar himself, does he? Or is he standing at the keys the entire time?

I gotta look this up, though. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Have you ever heard Winwood's collaboration Madison Square Concert recording with Clapton from 2009? It is available on Blu-Ray Audio among other formats... good stuff all-around obviously.

Yeah, I really like the Winwood/Clapton concert too. Something unique in that one too, I believe it may have been filmed over 2 nights? With some of the edits, you can see Clapton with his shirt sleeves rolled up, then they edit in a different camera angle of the same song from a different night and his sleeves are rolled down.

I was wondering about his keyboard playing in this one, could he have been using keys for bass sounds and I don't think so. And as far as being pre recorded, there seems to be too many tempo changes in certain songs to expect anything pre recorded from the bass. Of course, what do I know? Perhaps it's someone off stage...you know, sorta like a Cyrano in the bushes...
