Default TV Line: "Top 10 Requested Shows not Available on Streaming"

Murphy Brown (1988-1998, 2018)

Likely due to cost-prohibitive music rights, neither the original series nor the 2018 revival season can be found on a streaming platform.

However, a limited amount of episodes were available on CBS All Access in 2018 and the revival season can be purchased on Amazon Digital.

Chicago Hope (1994-2000)

Also due to music rights, this Emmy-nominated medical drama is not found on streaming platforms or physical media.

Boston Public (2000-2004)

It was previously syndicated on TV One, but has since been unavailable to watch anywhere.

Sisters (1991-1996)

Not currently on any streaming service, however is released on DVD.

China Beach (1988-1991)

Not currently on any streaming service, however is released on DVD.

Northern Exposure (1990-1995)

Not currently on any streaming service, however is released on DVD and Amazon Digital.

Moonlighting (1985-1989)

Not currently on any streaming service, however is released on DVD.

Knots Landing (1979-1993)

Not currently on any streaming service. Only 2 out of its 14 seasons have been released on DVD.

Ed (2000-2004)

Music rights are allegedly to blame for this NBC dramedy not being released on streaming or physical media.

Homicide: Life on the Street (1993-1999)

Music rights issues are what’s keeping people from streaming this excellent show, however it can be found on DVD.
