Default The Black & Purple theatre project..

Hey.

Me again bringing forth my plan for a proper (well as proper as can be made) HT setup in my soon to be house in a new town. Up north with my partner. Her work will supply a house (in essence we rent) or pay for all bills and interest on a loan to buy a house there.

Two outcomes of will take into account, relating to soundproofing/treatment, but my core components are set and can slowly be purchased in the coming months. So far there is one element up for debate. Speakers.

Axiom 22's frontstage + QS8 side rear + 22's back vs. PSB Image B6 frontstage and smaller B5 for sides/rear.

==========================

The price of the 22's is better all up, and I hear such good things. But without having heard them compared (and not being able to) I'm wondering if the psb capable of bi-amping will be an upgrade benefit. (ie id get a second xpa-5 emotiva and bi-amp every speaker later for better sound)

I won't bi-amp right away but if I wanted to, i guess the psb would be much better investment. Open to hearing what people think. I know its "up to me" but i'd like some input anyway.
