I hope they drop the price a lot because it is half an hour and half a season.

It's $33.47 to preorder it now. I think that is a great price for the work they put into these.

You're right that's not a bad price and I am still so grateful for that season 2 Blu-ray set.

I'll be buying this regardless, but will the Die Now, Pay Later segment be included? If my memory is correct, this segment was filmed for the series, but it was only used in the syndicated version.

Edit to add: Just found out that it is on the second season set. Crossing my fingers that season two will be a part of the upcoming sale.

This isn't a must have for me, so I'll be patiently waiting on a potential complete series release/set some time after this drops in November.

I doubt that happens. Kino tends not to release big box series sets. They didn't without outer limits, and I doubt they would with this.

I never expected to see Night Gallery on Blu-ray, so having the series completed in a short span of time is fantastic! Those of us who bought the Universal DVDs dutifully when they came out know how long it took the series to be released in its entirety (nearly a decade!), so having 3 seasons released within a year is a treat! Kudos to Kino for taking a gamble on a cult '70s horror TV show and giving us an embarrassment of extras (I LOVE the number of commentaries). I look forward to future TV-on-Blu-ray releases: Darkroom? Thriller? Amazing Stories? I'd buy all three!

(I've already pulled out my copy of Night Gallery: An After-Hours Tour in anticipation.)

$35 on Amazon. That has to be a mistake, right?

No, Season 3 had 30 min eps as opposed to 1 hour, and there werent many of them. It makes sense for it to be cheaper.

I predict that KL releases both Thriller (which they hinted at over a year ago) and Darkroom. Amazing Stories, IIRC was filmed on video and KL Insider said they have no interest in those.

I'm willing to take that chance, and can always wait and grab the individuals when a deal pops up if I really want it later. I figured the same, and supported a previous multi volume title (individually) from them, only to have them put the entire thing out as a set for a significant discount within months. Happy to support Kino, but the only way I do that again is if it's a must-have, and Night Gallery isn't that, for me.

Amazing Stories was definitely shot on film and Universal didn't edit most of their series on tape (the R1 and R2 DVD sets don't look smeary like other '80s shows shot on film/edited on tape released on DVD), so there is a good chance for a licensing deal!

Anyone get a ship notice from Amazon? I ordered back in September and this was due to release tomorrow (11/22/22) yet I don't have any movement on a shipment one day before release!
