United Kingdom Bluray.com Northern Ireland Home Cinema Club!

Heres a though that's been going through my mind. I think it would be a good idea if some of the Northern Ireland members got together once in a while and take turns at hosting a cinema night in their homes. The host could supply snacks, soft drinks etc. The idea would be whatever members are attending, pick a title form the hosts collection which u will see under their bluray collection, then rest of the members vote on what to watch? Or the Host picks a few titles for all to vote on, or the host simply picks a title without votes. It might work, it might not. But worth a try, let's see if we get any feedback.

Hey Manfonse, that's not a bad idea,I have done something similar for a long time with my mates, they call round,I let them pick what we're going to watch and we sit down with some beer and wine and enjoy the show.
The only issue I have now is that this was easier when I lived on my own,I am now living with the girlfriend and we have a baby, the movie night's have become day's,
She goes out to her mum's with the child about midday on a Saturday and is home about nine,we get a couple of film's watched in that time,it's just not the late one's we used to have....responsibilities!
Anyway, looking at what you have to offer I think we all should come to your'sthat is a hell of a set-up....send me some pic's when you get a chance, cheer's.

Well we can work something out I'm sure! Maybe a few more people from NI will show some interest. I'll upload pics once the screen arrives, projector arrived last week and for the time being I'm projecting onto a white bed sheet until screen gets here (3 weeks) but I must say, I'm blown away by the quality. And the 3D is out of thus world. And thats on a sheet. I can't even begin to imagine how good the ReActII will be. But getting back to cinema club thing, I'm happy to host to get the ball rolling. Let's see if we get anymore takers.

True, but there is at least one more who I seen posting in the Halloweeen 3 Season Of The Witch thread over on the US section. I must admit that's one of my favourite horror movies from the 80's. Either way, might just be us 2 lol. Where u live by the way? I'm out holywood direction. Would love u to see the setup. Will try and work something out, I've just started work on Game Of Thrones Season 3, so pretty hectic schedule. But il always find time for a cinema day/night. The wife has her own mini setup in another room, so she won't be a problem. But problems can be solved MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Cool. And to answer your question i look after the cast transport, I organise their pick ups from hotel to set etc, and shit loads of other transport needs through out the shoot.
