Usually for US Majors releases on french territory the menus are translated into french (it's a legal obligation),
Though if there are several languages (more than 2) on the edition, the menu usually adapt itself according to the Blu-ray reader setup (or the language you select at the beginning) |

If your blu-ray player is set to english for language of blu-ray menus, the menu will be in english: I've just tried with my blu-ray of Tintin bought on Amazon France. As zardoz explained above, the language of the menu will change based on this setting in the player. Last point: this blu-ray is not region free.

i don't know.
i play my blurays in my pc. i use powerDVD or TotalMedia Theater, and I'm not sure about this option to english language you say. the locked region problem isn't a problem for me.. Anyway, i live in Greece, so it's Region 2 here too.. edit: oh i just saw in TotalMedia Theater that in the settings, it has an option for DVD/BLuray language. (Default menu language). this is set to Greek. So i wonder if I put the French Bluray what would it show. (probably the French). But since it can be changed, I think I will not have any problem. thanks PS.: by the way, since you say you have the French Bluray of Tintin, it does have Greek subtiltes, doesn't it?
