I have the CA steelbook but I'm not a big fan of the artwork. If the artwork on this is nice and it comes with both versions of the film then I may replace it.

The different ending. This is a definite buy for me. Love Will Smith.

[Show spoiler]The one where he lives

UV? What does that mean exactly? I know it's ultraviolet, but does it mean everytime we want to watch the blu-ray it needs to connect to the internet?

No, you can watch the actual physical blu-ray on your player without an internet connection. The UV copy is a version of a digi-copy that is actually streamed via the internet rather than be stored on your device (though it can be downloaded and then stored).

For example rather than having a digi copy stored in memory on your tablet (though you can if you wish) you connect it to the internet and it is streamed from the servers that it's stored on.

Your UV account can also contain all your UV copies of the films that you have so you have an online collection of digi-copies.

You can also watch it on multiple devices such as your laptop, phone etc.

Having said all that they are a complete waste of time IMHO.

Theoretically no software is needed for UV but I'm not sure it would work on an iPad as I'm an Android guy not an Apple one, according to Wiki iTunes isn't intergrated into UV but it seems there may be ways around it.

Perhaps others can help with that more than me as I won't touch apple products.

This is the problem then.
If I download it where would it be stored. Not the greatest idea is it?

I'm not sure if I want this or not. Never even seen the whole movie - started watching it at least 10 times but never finished... maybe I got bored, can't remember exactly..

The film is a bit on the slow side. For me, it's good as a film. I still have trouble with the way the film butchers the themes and purpose of the short story. Still... enjoyable on its own merits though.

I didn't think much of the film. Really it was just a bad rip off of 28 Days Later. Yes it was originally a book but as a film it's something we had already seen. Didn't really do it for me.

It would have been better without the CGI vampires.
