Samsung Woes..BD-P1000. - Blu-ray Forum

Does anyone know if samsung is ever going to update the bd-p100 firmware we were(supposedly) promised weeks ago? Would appreciate any info...since half of my 100 blu-rays won't play on it!..Glad i bought a Sony also..they all work fine on it!...thanx....Def

I checked samsungs website yesterday..(30th), and they still had the 1.2 version...I'll check now...Thanx wicky...you come through again!!

Don't ask me why... but they made it really tough to find the latest update for the BD-P1000 and BD-P1200. Try this link: here. Then look at the bottom of the page. It doesn't have a new revision number for whatever reason... I suppose because it's just a compatibility update. Hope that helps.

Edit: And this should be moved to the Blu-ray players forum.

yeah it stills says 1.2, yet it's the latest that supports BD+ I hooked my mom up with it for my old bdp-1000 that she now owns, worked like a charm for her and the new FOX titles.

Yup...the new firmware still says 1.2 but works beautifully.
