What DVDs are you keeping regardless of if you have or are upgrading to Blu-ray?
I really liked the original thread, so here's to continuing that thread which was becoming a good cross-referenced database comparing editions.
I had pages 1 and 4 of the thread in my cache, and saved them to my computer. Here's the first page's posts.

So this got me thinking, what other Dvd's are out there that are worth keeping even though there's a Bluray counterpart available? (sans Star Wars, which is always argued back to it's Vhs counterparts )

Predator - Disc 2 from the DVD has all of the extras that were not ported over to the 2008 BD. The 2010 BD has the extras, but the feature is a DNR nightmare.
Dune - 2006 steelbook due to it containing the extended cut and a few extras not found on the BD

All b/c it looks like the extras aren’t on the bluray that are on the dvd. Although I’m not sure if that’s the case w/Clerks.

Barton Fink French Collector's Edition - for the extras even though they're not English-friendly, and the beautiful package
Scarface - very first DVD release with crappy quality, but keeping it because it has the trailers
Dumb and Dumber - Have two DVD version next to the blu ray, the theatrical and Australian cut, the Australian also has a great making-of featurette which to my knowledge isn't on any other DVDs.
The Warriors - to have the theatrical cut
Heat - original cut with a couple of extra lines that were cut in the blu ray version

Other than that, nothing. I sell all my old DVDs when I upgrade.

If the bluray came out with a combo pack i have sold or traded them. I actually started buying double pack cases and creating my own combo packs. There are some great double bluray ELITE cases at best buy for about $1 each.

Planet of the Apes 35th Anniversary ed.
Oldboy Tin
LOTR Extended with book-style cases (I plan to put the BD's in these most likely)

The Japanese BD has this in HD if you were curious.

Otherwise, if I replace a movie on Blu-ray but the Blu-Ray is missing special features, I make my own "2 disc set". I have done this with Dawn of the Dead, Kingdom of Heaven (had to use a 3-disc case for that one), Man on Fire, Predator (original Blu-Ray), and the first two Spider-Man flicks.

I'll get page 4 up tomorrow, and post my own list too.
