I have seen several posts here, like the one above in the Canada forum, to the effect that the remaining Bond single BRDs will be released October 2nd, supposedly by the three seperate retailers noted above. I have seen the Walmart preorder for their three but nothing from the other two. Is there any official news on these releases anywhere?

You already made a thread on this:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=205794

Not to mention there's already an enormous Bond blu-ray thread on page 1....

Anyway, to answer your question, it's already been confirmed by the studio that the remaining singles will be at those retailers on Oct 2. Not sure why pre-order listings have not been created yet, though.

Latest leaked Target ad does not mention the singles.

Best Buy ad has yet to surface.

Only Walmart has anything on theirs.

Hope the BB and Target ones aren't hard to come by.

Bill Hunt from The Digital Bits asked the studio. The studio confirmed everything. That's good enough for me - Hunt's site has been pretty reliable for the past 15 years or so, and I can't imagine he has any reason to make stuff up at this point in his career.

That's how Connery would say it

Someone at CAG who works at Target said the prices are in the system for their exclusives..

The Living Daylights (058-37-0715) is $14.99. The Bond 50 set (058-40-0071) is $189.99. Not sure why TLD is $5 more or why Target is randomly bringing back Licence to Kill.

These are the regular prices according to the register, but I'm hoping they have some type of promotion like a free gift card, exclusive freebie or have a lower sale price when they are released.

The 3 Walmart exclusives have a release date of October 2nd according to their website. I'd assume the same date for the Best Buy and Target exclusives...

That quote from Post #1, while posted in the Canadian section, does not correspond to Canadian retailers (for one, we don't have Targets yet).

In Canada, Future Shop will be carrying:

On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Tomorrow Never Dies
The Spy Who Loved Me
You Only Live Twice
The Living Daylights
A View to a Kill

There's no word up here on who will be carrying the other 3 (Diamonds Are Forever, Goldeneye and Octopussy), but we're speculating Wal-Mart since they're carrying them in the States.

I just checked the Best Buy site and they do not have the new single releases listed yet. Sorry, guys ... but they're not listed on the Best Buy website. I checked for On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

Well that's encouraging. I certainly hope they come out when projected on the 2nd but the official silence on these is deafening. I suppose they don't want to steal the Bond 50 thunder.

Yeah. Similar to how Warner is keeping silent on the Target exclusive Year 7 Ultimate Edition in light of the expensive Wizards collection.
