Default Who here knows many languages and has multi-region player capabilities?

Who here knows many languages and uses those skills to take advantage of multi-region Blu-ray player capability?

Is there anyone in here that is fluent in more than three languages in here and takes advantage of those languages by buying Blu-rays from all over the world without worrying about the Blu-ray having English subtitles?

If so, I envy you.

If only I was fluent in French, Italian, German, I would be so much happier and not worry about import Blu-rays having English subtitles or not.

Most people in Region A think that buying a multi region player is a huge, insurmountable obstacle and whine about every release that's not 'A' or region free, so wanting to understand other languages is pretty forward thinking of you Personally, I want to know why I can't plug in my translator chip or babelfish yet, c'mon science, get it in gear!

My main language is French, only started learning English when I was 16, so I never bother much to check if subtitles are available or dubs when its a French movie.

Fluent in Dutch, which is my native language. Fluent in English, which is my 2nd and "main" language now, and fluent in German. I use English subs with everything, simply because there are still plenty of words i haven't "learned" into my vocabulary yet, and it's always nice to expand my knowledge of language. I don't own a multi region Blu-ray player yet, but i've had multi region DVD players since....the beginning of time.

English is my first language. I'm a good ol' boy from North Carolina. After living in Germany, learned both German and French in school. So, still somewhat knowledgeable in those two languages.
