Default Please Help Me out GH3

This is an odd request...but I'm in the process of an RMA request through red octane to replace my guitar which has been faulty since I got it.

I need a receipt showing the purchase of Guitar Hero III for PS3...otherwise I cannot get a replacement guitar.

I'm usually pretty good about keeping receipts, but this one seems to have slipped away.

If any of you got Guitar Hero III on PS3 on release day and still have the receipt...is there anyway I could get it from you?

As I said, strange request, but I don't know where else to turn...I'd like my guitar to work properly.

I don't think that would matter at all.

You might try taking it box and all to Walmart. I had a faulty guitar too and they let me exchange it without a receipt (Mine was 5-6 hours away as it was a Christmas present from my mom). Just make sure you're clear about it that you want to exchange it for the same item and what's wrong with the guitar. You'll also have to take everything in it, game and all. It's worth a try, it worked for me and saved having to get my receipt mailed to me.

A lot of retailers can reprint your receipt, so long as you didn't pay cash. Try going back to wherever you purchased it?

Taking it to walmart worked out...they exchanged and the guitar works properly now.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions!

Course, after playing Rock Band so much, this game just doesn't keep my attention as much as it did for the first two weeks I had it.

I think I'm going to focus on Rock Band and put GH3 in my trade thread and see if anyone wants it.

Rock band seems more difficult than GH3...

I dont like the gameplay nearly as much, plus I like the songs on GH3... merely my opinion but you got the idea! Glad it all worked out for ya

I think is actually easier than GH3, the jump from medium to hard on RB is alot more tolerable than GH3.

My wammy broke on GH3 and i was still under the 60 day manufacturer warranty, took it to BB and just exchanged it.
