Belgium The Inseparables (2023) 3D (maybe not?)

This was supposed to drop in France and Belgium on August 10th. Anyone see it anywhere to purchase?

Cool. Just hoping for an 2D/3D playable disc somewhere later on.

If it gets released on 3D Blu I’ll pick it up, but after the disappointment that was Chickenhare, I’m not getting my hopes up even if it does get released. But I’ll let myself be happily surprised if it turns out to be up there with nWave classics.

I'd like to mention that, according to IMDB, Viva Pictures acquired The Inseparables for theatrical release in the US. Viva Pictures recently gave Deep Sea a limited theatrical 3D run, so there is some hope that we could see this one stateside too. The downside is that their home distribution model seems to be limited to DVD. But Belga Films has it in Belgium, and they have delivered Blu-ray 3Ds for all of nWave's recent work so far. Someone in the UK or Ireland go see it on December 8 if it plays 3D, and give us a review, please.

Unfortunately, it looks like The Inseparables is limited to 2D in cinema in England and Ireland. It is playing in other countries as well, but there may be no early English-language 3D reviews. It’s 3D in South Africa, for what that’s worth.

NWave hopefully continue to release strong 3D animated CGI films for many years ahead. Eventually there could be a way for 3D fans to see them all in some format hopefully. I see they're listed with Netflix recently, who offers no 3D option sadly.

NWave 3D releases:

Trailer looks great. I had been sitting on Robinson Crusoe for some time but finally watched it this week... suffice to say, thank goodness Rarewaves had a few others in stock because my subsequent actions were totally predictable. Amazon.com, nope, its the actual freakin' Amazon you need to visit to find an English copy of Bigfoot Junior in 3D. To appreciate that 3-D Film Archive restorations of catalog films are still doing business for Kino one has to believe that nWave could do a tidy side business selling (English friendly, hopefully region free) 3D editions of their works, shipped worldwide, from a Belgium based webstore run out of a closet in their rendering farm. Character goods, pens and stuffed animals, t-shirts, whatever it takes. I get that theatrical access can be a huge ask, but is this global scavenger hunt due to rights issues?

Meanwhile, they do seem very receptive on their youtube comments section...

It would be cool if NWave directly released ABC blu ray 3Ds of all their 3D films and short 3D films.

Not so good news: Belga Films only has DVD versions of The Inseparables up for pre-order. Hopefully we will see a Blu-ray 3D in the future, but that prospect is no longer promising.

Not even a 2D Blu-ray? DVD only?

Shame if they not release a 3D bluray!
Next project is Chickenhare 2 for the end of the year.

What a shame! Seems this is the end of any upcoming Nwave/Ben Stassen 3D movie on 3D Blu-ray. Even on 2D Blu-ray.

IMDB says Studio Canal has the license in Germany. I don’t think it was even released in German theaters, but that’s probably our last outside shot for a disc. They did a Blu-ray 3D for Son of Bigfoot in 2017. They also licensed Chickenhare in 2022 and did streaming only, so really, I expect a repeat of that. A Contracorriente Films, Eagle Pictures, and SF Studios all tend to release nWave titles on Blu-ray flat. An Apple Vision Pro release may be the only 3D possibility left. Sad days.
