Excellent! May have to import that one. I'm curious as to how the PQ will be. Every copy I've ever seen was pretty muddy. After watching "Monty Python's Life Of Brian" on BD, my hopes are unrealistically high. That movie was low budget, shot on cheap film stock, and every version I'd ever seen looked pretty bad (but I always loved it). Seeing the BD absolutely blew me away. It was almost like watching it for the first time. Hopefully this will be the same!

Thanks for the heads up!

I really hope they can clean up the transfer. Like you all said, the DVD, even the Criterion version is quite ugly and it's such a good movie, I'd love to own a good copy of it. The movie is quite hilarious.

So the reviewer thinks this is better than the Anchor Bay UK release? I must say, I have not noticed a green shift really... and I don't see any extras listed for the new US one, or have I missed them? If so, a Blu-ray without extras is unthinkable in my book. And what with the UK version being region free, well... it's no contest really.

Sadly the video on this is VERY soft. Even for a film shot on the cheap surely it can look better...
