Ultimate Rekall Edition Slipcovers? - Blu-ray Forum

Has anyone in/around Toronto found a copy with a slip?

I tried 2 FSs and 1 HMV, about 30-35 copies in total without slips. The HMV was the downtown superstore of all places, which has been my go-to store if I can't find slipcovers for recently released movies.

I've seen several YouTube "unboxings" with the slips, but they all seem to be from Quebec...

hi i'm having the same problem in london every store here has no slips.

finaly got sick of running around after looking at 7 stores. i ordered one off bluraystop.com they have 4 left with slips

another user on here reported finding some at walmart u migh have luck there but all 3 walmarts in london has no copies instock even though walmart.ca stock check said they have.

guessing its gonna be a rather rare slip.

In Quebec they have tons at Archambault at 15.99 ( saw this morning ) .

With BluRayStop, it will be about $6 more than what I paid for my slipless copy. I got a decent deal as I used some HMV Pure points, on top of a 9% discount that HMV gave.

Perhaps I'll try a Wal-Mart and a Best Buy tomorrow, if I get lucky I can just switch the slip and return the movie

That way I'll still get the lower HMV price

I never would have figured an Alliance slip would be hard to find... it just seems like Quebec got the first shipments with all the slips, and most of Ontario recieved a very limited number of slips.

I don't even consider myself a slip collector, but the Total Recall one looked so nice, I cancelled my pre-order of the Mind-Bending edition for $10 so I could get the Canadian release

allance catlog titles are usely tough to find cuz stores rarly bother to stock some of them. but this one is rather just that it seems most aren't coming with slips for some reason or another.

bluraystop is still a good deal if u want the slip they also will also let u trade used blurays in for store credit and i find they offer a half decent trade in.

I'll try Wal-Mart tomorrow, since I've put my HMV points towards that one (doubt I'll get them back by doing a return) and HMV had the lower price, I'll just put the slipcover on that one and return the Wal-Mart copy sealed.

Hi, i picked up my copy without slip at the HMV store at Place Versailles shopping center in Montreal 2 days ago with a fat pink sticker on it priced at
10.00$+taxes. But it was the last one on the shelf, so maybe they'll have more soon at the same price?

Edit: Almost forgot to mention the bi-lingual packaging but since it doesn't bother me so no problem there, just happy to have it cheaper.

Thanks for the suggestion...the disc is the same as the MBE in the US correct?

The one i got from Futureshop didn't have a slipcover and im in Montreal..

Oh and BTW, what ARE the difference between this one and the US Mind Bending edition?

I really hope it's the same new transfer and features.

other then the slipcover that canada got and dif art work there is not any dif. uk also got the same release to it was pretty much a world wide re relase with the same new director aproved transfer.

The Canadian version also comes with a DVD copy of the film.
