Not really cut, but censored.

The shot of Vincent shooting the heroin was reframed so you could not see the the needle penetrating the skin.

I think the bit when Travolta injects adrenaline into Uma Thurman's heart after she OD's on the lawn was replaced with different footage.

The needle in the heart has been in a few movies now.

The close-up of the needle penetrating Vincent's skin was re-framed for the UK VHS and DVD releases. God knows why.

Ah. I thought it was the Uma bit!

I've only seen the movie once!

Update: And it's not even on the lawn it's in a living room of Eric Stoltz. Back to Tarantino School for me....

Don't worry, the film is a chronological nightmare. You're forgiven for getting things mixed up

I've always wondered if any one went to the loo or to the concession stand during Vincent's demise and never realised it!

"Did I miss anything?"
"Yeah Travolta got killed!"
"But he's there on the screen.... still alive."

haha! It's definitely not one of those films that you can just nip away for a minute or two! You miss one little detail and boom! The film makes no sense! Amazing film though

in the bad old days of the James Ferman era BBFC, they apparently worried that there might be someone out there who was desperate to take heroin, but hadnt the slightest idea how to shoot it. obviously this person wouldnt ask someone in the real world. instead he or she would look for a film that features heroin injection for instruction. because of this ridiculous notion, films like Pulp Fiction and Trainspotting were censored on video and dvd, only being given uncut releases years later. strange but true.
