Default Help on Subwoofer Selection

Im in the process of Designing my Dedicated HT Room.
Its VERY Narrow about 7.5ft and 20ft Long and not sure what Sub(s) To get.

I Have decided to go with Klipsch Speakers and am certain on

RF-82 x 2
RS-62 x2
RC-62

and Sub Matching them would be a SW-112.
Is this Sub good for my room?

Or should i get a better one or two.

Im Probably going to have it behing the screen with the FCL Speakers.

Should i have one at the back as well?

Thanks

I'm no sub expert but stating a budget might help those who are in the know.

I have the same speakers, except i dont have the rs-62's, i use the rf-62's, but i can tell you not to get klipsch's sub's, there not worth the money, get a ID sub, i use two Epik Empire, and they are great, they blend in so nice, but like the previous reply, list your price.

Thanks i have been told by a few people that Klipsch Subs are a bit overpriced.
Im Quite flexible but would not spend more than about £800 For a Sub.
The room will have carpet.

Will i need two? I will be about 12ft Away From The Sub if it is at the front.

Many Thanks

And epik legend would be right up your alley, but I've been trying to get a hold of them for almost 2 weeks and I'm very unhappy. I doubt I'd buy from them again.

Like the amp, I would say start off with a good sub behind your screen and take it from there. I think you should be happy with 1 if it's a quality sub. But I have a buddy who has 2 and have to say that it's quite the difference. Not only in sheer power but in the quality of the bass, seems way punchier.

Get 2 for sure.. It fills the whole room and sounds awesome.. I have my legend at the back of my room and it sounds the best. I tried the front the side and it didn't sound the best. The thing with Epik is,if I can't get a hold of them, that doesn't inspire a lot of confidence on placing an order on their site.. I don't like being in the dark..
