Seasons 1-3 are already available in European countries including the UK, with Japanese, and much cheaper. 4, 5, 6 is coming out the same time in Germany etc with Japanese options as well. If you're smart enough, and want Japanese options, go with the non-Japanese imports...

I have the UK Season 4, and that set is Region B LOCKED. However, that set was one of the first non-US releases of Dexter, so I am not sure what the coding status of the other UK and European sets are, but if, as you say, they do have Japanese options, then obviously they should be Region A-friendly.

EDIT: I see, the catalog 1-3 UK sets do have Japanese options, according to the back covers.
