Default Updating Family HT

I have a Sony Aquos that needs updating. I prefer to get a 120HZ with wireless capability. The TV must be 46" to fit into the armoire.

I also have a Panasonic blu-ray player BD55 (before wireless). I would like to update this, too.

The only thing that is still fine is my Onkyo TX-SR705 receiver. One thing is the VCR doesn't show video, just audio which is odd. It was a wedding gift in 1995 and only has composite (red, white, yellow) hookup.

possibly a setting in the video section of your receiver..

looking through the manual, composite (yellow cable) can only be output from composite,s-video, & Component output connections...so If you only using HDMI the video will not output.
