hmmm The Sigma datasheet for the 8634 says it's 1.1 compatible http://www.sigmadesigns.com/public/P...ray8634_br.pdf

Yep Kjack metnioned it earlier today in the master thread. Everyone assumed that since every player they had made to date as well as the 2400,since canceld, and the 5000 were announced with the broadcom that it was one also. But this might just shed some light on why the 2400 was cancelled. And if you look around you will notice things are happing with the 5000. As in being delayed. Wonder if they are just canceling the planned units to use Sigma now.

Not to mention the 1400 has the rev. C. So it is very capable if Samung wishes to support it. But there track record leads me to think they will not.
