Default Netflix current price plan with Bluray

What is Netflix current price plan with DVD and Bluray only (no streaming)?

Their website won't let me know the complete list unless I sign up first. I am a former member who quit a long time ago.

I believe it is $11.99. My membership has two DVDs with Blu Ray and is $15.

Netflix no longer rents blu rays or DVDs.

Look into Qwikster.

yes they do. qwikster won't be an actual company for a few more weeks. Red Hastings said so in his email.

Blockbuster offers a greater Blu-ray selection than what Netflix did. I never cared for Netflixs streaming service. Between the poor quality, poor selection and film cropped to fill up the 16x9 screen, I didn't see anything appealing about it. While I only subscribe to the rental service for a month, twice a year, to catch up with films I haven't seen or new movies I didn't see theatrically, I see Blockbuster as a better choice for my needs.

I just started a BB subscription primarily for blu's because I was sick of blue ray movies not being available on Netflix. Lack of availability and not the price hike was the main reason I dropped Netflix. So far Blockbuster is slower on disc turnaround by about 2 days (kinda of expected this) but they get movies earlier and have them available faster than Netflix. Overall, I'm pleased but it's early days yet and BB do not have a great track record I still stream through Netflix and am happy with the service they provide but am expecting a price increase in the near future.

I've been using the Blockbuster 3 disc by mail service for several years now. If the disc is in your que and it says "available" then the turn around is very fast. Dunno if that helps.

I live in a rural area and the turnaround is usually 7-8 days. Mailed movies last Mon and will be here today. My queue is stocked. Netflix turnaround was more like 3-4 days.

That's pretty much how it was for me. I'd ship the discs back Mon and get replacements by Weds or Thurs. It's not going to happen with BB as they just don't have the same # of distribution centers and it will be Friday by the earliest. That's ok as long as the Blu's I want are available if not I'll be moving along.

Blockbuster's movie selection is terrible compared to Netflix. Plus, their streaming has gotten much better. I don't know what you guys have been smoking.

Netflix definately does have a better selection, but at least Blockbuster gets some new releases a month before Netflix does. Anything from Warner, Fox and Universal gets delayed about a month through Netflix and Redbox. Blockbuster usually gets them right away. I have accounts through both Netflix and Blockbuster. The only thing about Blockbuster that I don't like is the turnaround time. I get movies much faster through Netflix.

This is why it is smart to have more than new releases in your que. I've got over 177 BD's in my que and have never felt the need to watch something on release day. If I do than I buy it. That's just me though.
