Default I'm simply on the edge of giving up scanning and adding covers!!!

I recently added this front cover of Titanic 3-D release which is the actual "COVER" of Titanic:
img369.jpg

it has recently been replaced by this Amazon cover which is as everyone can see is not the same as "THE ACTUAL COVER"

T.jpg

How come this went through???????
If this continues i simply will not give my time and effort to this database

This is a problem that we're aware of and we're considering making changes to the cover system to allow for keeping more covers (so they aren't lost/overwritten).

I'm not sure if it would be possible to allow custom selection of a preferred cover for each Blu-ray entry, but separating covers into cover types is a solution that we're considering. That way every Blu-ray entry could have a front 3D, front flat, front scan version, and you could choose to get all front 3D covers when they are available with fallbacks on the other types and if you prefer scanned versions you could perhaps get those as the default. Again, this is something that we're looking into because we realize that it's a matter of preference which cover is "better". I can't make any promises on when such a change might be implemented, but it can be really tough to decide which cover to keep so being able to keep all would of course be the best solution.

Thanks for your answer Marwin.
If i looked pissed i was, taken in that what i posted was the released "Cover".
I understand that there are lot of opinions you have to consider.
My take is that you have:
1.The "Original Cover" the cover of the released blu.
2.The "Revised Cover" from the studio, Covers that are on the Re-release of movies that have the same UPC, like Pale Rider & Enemy at the gates.
(That should include the back's as well and that you could choose what to display)
And of course the Front "3-D" option.

Cheers
MM
