Well, i opened the thread to express these thoughts:
1) I'm tired of searching all the reviews etc. about a certain release, to see if it's indeed good and doesn't have mistakes. More and more I see many Bluray releases that have errors or change the original look of the film. eg. -changed colors (Disney's Beauty and the Beast) -faulty music (choir missing in Conan the Barbarian) -changed soundtrack (eg. Terminator) -other errors (wrong credits in Hitchcock's Frenzy, wrong framing in Three Colors:Blue) etc. etc. 2)I'm tired of searching 20 different releases (either different versions in the same country, or different country versions) of a certain film to see what has the best picture, audio, subtitles that suit my needs etc. etc. I wish ONE GLOBAL BLURAY of each film would be released for ALL with the best audio/video possible, and with all the subtitles, and the best efforts of the company not to make mistakes/alterations. What are your thoughts on this? |
