It comes and goes. Sometimes the servers get a little congested and take too long to sync (which is why you usually get the error messages). Just go about your business and try again at another time.

Dude, it's Friday night on a holiday weekend (July 4 is Monday) in North America. It's probably because the servers are a lot busier than usual.
You're still earning trophies; just sync them up early next week after the 10 million extra people on PSN aren't online any more. |

I actually made a thread about the exact same error not so long ago. And after 2 and a half hours strate of constantly retrying it got through. each 5th or 6th try would bumbp the % complete up a little bit. Theres nothing wrong at all with your PS3 and has nothing to do with any other tasks your PS3 is performing, it just happens.

I've just made a trophy sync test here and worked flawlessly.
See if anything's wrong with your internet or its speed. Trophies to some (or a lot) PS3 gamers are really important, huh.. |

Nope, HDD won't make a difrence I had my original HDD when it happend to me. It's not to do with any of your equipment. It's the server thats used to sync the trophies. It times out if it takes too long thats why you get the error code.
But the more you retry the more data that gets through each time. I'll try and find my thead and see what others said there |
