How long does it take with Amazon?

How long does it take with Amazon.com (US) standard shipping?
I have always used priority shipping and it takes me around 3-5 days.

WIth Amazon UK, I use standard shipping and it arrives in 7-10 days.

What about Amazon US? I hope it doesn't take a month or something?

Yep, a month or something would be about right for Amazon.com standard shipping. Regularly 35 days to Australia.

Not sure for India but to UAE it depends! Usually its 3 to 4 weeks but sometimes I got packages after two weeks but that happens rarely.

In Sharjah, the package most likely will never arrive! So I always opt for expedited shipping (although costly).

I used Standard Shipping with Amazon US for the first time last week. The item was shipped on the 1st and it's been forwarded to my area today evening! Might receive it tomorrow .

Standard shipping from the US is equal to Priority.

You get tracking as well.

In Delhi, amazon.com takes 7-11 business days from standard shipping. Amazon- Uk takes 5 business days from standard shipping. Have ordered from amazon.de, waiting for my order for the past 4 weeks- still shows it in transit.

It was sent by Aramex Express. Is it the same with you? Amazon US improved the standard shipping a few months ago.

It came via Mumbai. I hope I haven't been charged customs!

The estimated delivery date was of today i.e. Nov 4. I first ordered it on 10th September, got estimated delivery date of 7th October. Didn't received it, so amazon.de send it again - still waiting.

Both the times the order was sent through i-parcel. Have you ordered earlier from amazon.de, if yes then how was your experience with their service. For all my international purchases I prefer Amazon.com & Amazon Uk. This was my first order from amazon.de and highly unsatisfactory service.

I ordered my last order( spiderman & bourne trilogy with sylvestor stalone collection) from uk but came from amazon.de in 10 days

Luftpost(german) was written on the box means Airmail in eng & address written on the box was Staufenberg

Both bourne & stallone collection discs has german written on them

I am happy that my order reached safely

As your parcel was sent through German post you got it on time- Lucky you.Mine was sent through ' i-parcel', therefore still waiting.

So got a parcel from AMZ US via AMZGlobalShipping (Aramex). No customs were charged so I contacted the AMZ CC to get a refund. They said the process will take 60 days, so I asked them whether I can get it instead in the form of a voucher (as suggested by Kushalrocks), but they refused saying they've to follow the standard procedure. I even got the matter escalated to a supervisor, still the same.
Don't want to wait 60 days. Anything that can be done ?

Ordered blu rays on 8th Oct. These buggers shipped them through i-parcel on 22nd Oct. Since then, the package hasn't arrived. The following is the status as on date:

Facing similar problem from amazon.de. Waiting for my order for more than two months has been shipped twice. Mailed them day before yesterday, they state that once the parcel is reached to the destination country, then they can't track it but both the times my parcel didn't reach India always showed in transit. Have been asked to wait till 17th Nov (knowing it would not help).
Their executives always say they can't track down the package.
