United Kingdom Boost cost of 2D cinema tickets to lower 3D cost

http://www.gizmodo.co.uk/2012/03/cin...s-get-cheaper/

Or in another way this cinema chain is penalizing punters who have turned off the niche gimmick, they are going to not only raise-cinema tickets so the large majority of movie viewers pay for the dying 3D-fad. But that this may then trickle down into the bluray home purchaser market if the film-industry see the public not mind paying more! I will not be paying a premium on top of a normal cinema tickets to help cover the cost or industries upgrades to smooth out there projected pay-outs of the endless mind numbing "in three dee" malarkey.

http://boingboing.net/2012/03/24/the...premium-o.html

So now we have to boycott 2D at cinema's?!?! too get the message across to the 3D-loveie's at hollywood because they mindlessly ignore the publics slow uptake or withdrawal of re-watching 3D films. How clever of them higher-ups; everyone has to pay for the finite few's amusement possibly, and their epic disillusioned investment into this 'upgrade' feature. I won't shed a tear or use pirated material, book's are starting to look even more cooler now.

This saves the 3D industry from needing to do a good job, so expect even more half-hearted bodge_job films with crap effects tacked on all in 3Deee.

Does this news make you think about visiting your local cinema less???
