It looks like my Acer Ferrari F-20 Monitor, which I've had for about 6 years now, is on its last legs. It sometimes goes completely black and I'm having to use the AUTO settings more and more. Here's a pic:
002003.jpg I'm really sad to see it's life come to an end as it's been the best monitor I've ever owned. But, life goes on and she's going out to pasture. I'm going to pick up a cheap one in the meantime until I decide on a proper replacement. I spend at least 8hrs a day on the PC, so I want a high-quality monitor and something that I can be safe will last for a good 5 years. The new monitor must have HD resolution (obviously) and have HDMI connections. My workstation only allows for a monitor that is 22.5" in width, which will limit me at max to a 24" screen, but likely 23". I have no problem with that since I sit approximately 3-3.5ft away from the screen. While I don't want to spend mega-bucks, I do want a serious high-quality monitor. Any recommendations? |
